The US air pollution control industry saw a healthy growth in 2003-2004, but that may be slowing down. Renewed interest in coal-fired power generation due to rise in natural gas prices may provide more opportunities in the APC market, but many agree that the emissions from power plants need tighter regulations. China, in the mean time, is expected to see the fastest growth in market size.
